I am a highly experienced clinician who has worked for almost twenty years, fulltime, as a secondary school guidance counsellor, ACC trauma therapist, private practice counsellor and in the last two years as a supervisor.

I have managed challenging and complex caseloads and have developed skills in risk assessment and management and trauma recovery using embodied trauma informed approaches.

I am excited to develop my practice to focus on providing clinical supervision. I  am no longer providing individual counselling services.

Services I provide:

  • Clinical supervision
  • Mental Health professional supervision
  • Group & Peer supervision

Approach

I provide supervision for counsellors, students, and ACC registered sensitive claims providers as well as those working in a range of health, education or wellbeing settings.

You will find me warm, encouraging and affirming as I prioritise building a supportive and safe space, where you can bring your whole self,  as I recognise you as a person and professional. From a place of curiosity and a love of learning, together, we will reflect on your practice and explore the impact of who you are and what you do in the room. Through curious inquiry we will celebrate the work you do, support your self-awareness and unpack any difficult or ethical issues.  A priority will able be checking in on your wellbeing and discussing ways to nourish you from a Te Whare Tapa Wha wholistic view.

My clinical supervision work comes from a strengths based, narrative and integrative approach, drawing on a range of knowledges to support your personal growth and uphold your confidence and competence as a professional.
