My name is Casey and I am a New Zealand Registered Psychologist and a full member of the New Zealand Psychological Society. I completed my Undergraduate degree at Auckland University and then my Masters and Postgraduate study in Psychology here at Massey University. I have worked in the Mental Health field for eight years and have experience treating anxiety and depression, motivation, stress and anger issues.

I work from a client-centred approach with evidence-based interventions usually Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), supporting people to learn strategies and skills to move forward their goals and a better life.

 

Counselling/Therapy Approach

I provide confidential one on one therapy, this is most often client focused Cognitive Behavioural therapy (CBT) or Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT).

 

Background and Experience

Eight years working in Adult mental health. I have worked with adults with Depression, Anxiety, Schizophrenia, Stress, with relationships and motivation, supporting people with addiction.

I have experience with stress and stress management. Improving work life balance and improving “happiness” in the form most important to the person in question, whether that be joy, achievement, purpose, fulfilment etc.

I have worked successfully with people with a wide range of anxieties, from worry to phobias to social anxiety to panic attacks and PTSD.

I have supported people with CBT who are experiencing low mood and its effects, from tiredness and lack of interest or a low level of motivation to negative thoughts and feeling about self, the world.

Q Appointments

- I provide one-on-one therapy
- I also offer therapy via skype or zoom
- These sessions can be during the week, in the weekend or evening.
- I offer a FREE 20 minute meet and greet session.

Q Fees

- $160 +GST per 55 minute session
- I offer one FREE 20 minute meet and greet session.
- I can also support applications for WINZ funding for low income earners.
- We can discuss other options if required.
- payment can be made by Cash or bank transfer.
