There are many reasons we may chose to seek help or support in life. Often our friends and family can help us. But sometimes our loved ones can’t offer the support we need, or may in part, be the reason we are struggling. Other aspects in life, like health and work, can also create challenges. I am skilled using a variety of therapeutic method and will tailor your counselling to suit your needs. I have training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person-centred methods, as well as knowledge of Gestalt, Psychodrama and Solution-Focused therapy
I finished my counsellor training in 2014 and have been a Full Member Registered with NZAC since October 2018. I have over a decade of experience working in health care settings in NZ, including as a counsellor I have worked in Private Practice, as a Family Support Coordinator for Child Cancer Foundation, and also currently work as an EAP Counsellor.
I am currently studying a Masters in Professional Supervision from University of Auckland (half way through mid 2025).
Previously, I worked in Marketing Communications in large corporates in the UK and NZ for nearly 20 years. I have lived in NZ since 2008, have two grown up children and am happily married.
