Working Together.

I have experience of helping people work through many kinds of difficulties including; anxiety, depression, relationship issues, feelings of loneliness, low mood and stress. It can feel terribly hard coping alone and often taking the first step to make contact with a counsellor can feel the hardest and is brave.

As a counsellor I have a warm, empathic approach and am committed to providing counselling in a safe, confidential and non-judgmental environment

I offer therapy with the aim of enabling you to enhance your life and to live it more fully. This may involve looking at ways you habitually think, feel and behave and why this isn’t working for you.

Working with me could help you find a place for you to process feelings around life changes or simply to have a “thinking space” that’s just for you. Counselling can be focused on just one specific issue or be a space where you feel free to experience and explore all thoughts and feelings freely…the way you wish to use the space is up to you.

Together we can take a flexible approach determined by your pace and expectation. We’ll focus on achieving the changes you seek.

My Approach

Whether you prefer to talk online or in person, my appointments provide a safe space where you can talk about your situation compassionately and in complete confidence. Using Person-Centred Therapy, and Internal Family Systems as two of my therapy approaches, together we can identify and work on the areas of your life that you’d like to address.

Background and Experience

As well as my on-going private practice, I continue to work with young people in a college setting offering them the opportunity and space to discuss their problems
