I trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), developed by Dr Sue Johnson. EFT is being practised around the world and is recognised as an effective, evidenced-based couple therapy. EFT is a structured approach to couples therapy, based on the science of adult attachment and bonding.

I came to New Zealand/Aotearoa 40 years ago. While I began my career in the health professions doing body work, coming into contact with my clients’ trauma led me on to studying psychotherapy. It was a priviledge for me to work with many people from diverse cultural, ethnic and religious background in both NGO and government settings in New Zealand and Australia. In my private practice I have developed a particular interest in couple therapy over the past few years.
