Counselling/Therapy Services

Therapy is your time. I would work collaboratively with you to address the goals that you want to achieve and are important to you. As a counselling psychologist, I offer evidence-based treatments such as cognitive behavioural therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioural therapy, and acceptance & commitment therapy. I also employ creative modalities like art and play, to suit your needs and preferences.

Background and Experience

I have worked with people of various ages with a range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, trauma, obsessive-compulsive disorder, grief, intimate partner violence, neglect, abuse, sexualised behaviour, oppositional behaviour and ADHD. I am also experienced in working with Māori, Pasifika, Asian and NZ European clients. I run seminars, workshops and groups for both therapists and the general public. I also provide mentoring and clinical supervision.

Previously worked at Family Action and currently working for the District Health Board in child and adolescent mental health services.
