Danielle Hayward

Clinical Psychologist - Geneva Wellbeing

I pride myself on building warm and trusting relationships with my clients. My style aims at establishing a safe and non-judgemental environment in which my clients can feel heard and supported. I enjoy working with a range of issues and try to craft a tailored therapeutic approach for each client using evidence-based modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).

I can complete assessments for neurodevelopmental difficulties such as attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder and intellectual disability, and also provide assessments and interventions for clients with mental health difficulties such as anxiety, depression, and trauma related disorders. I am passionate about providing thorough psychological assessments that serve to help clients understand how their current difficulties have developed, and how they are being maintained. These assessments serve as the cornerstone for personalised interventions with clear rationales.
