Donna Brown – Counsellor

Your Good Space

Life isn’t always easy and at one time or another, we all need some support in navigating life’s challenges. Each journey into therapy takes courage, willingness, and vulnerability. As a therapists my role is to create a safe space for each client to feel connected, to be authentically seen, heard, and understood. Within this environment we can work together towards healing from the past, understanding the present, and moving forward to create a life that you choose.

I am an counsellor with twenty years of experience based in Howick. I hold two degrees one in Counselling, and another in Social Work, I also have a post graduate diploma in Counselling and Social Development. I am a full member of New Zealand Association of Counsellors.

I have presented as a guest speaker at community events, tertiary institutions, and at international mental health conferences on topics such as wellbeing, bullying, anxiety, and client led initiatives.
