Group supervision for family therapists

Family Therapy supervision groups:

Develop your family therapy skills in a small supportive group of like minded professionals, with two experienced family therapists facilitating.  Sessions will involve work on cases, skills practice and theory, in response to group needs.  These groups are offered in person (in Christchurch only) or online, with 3-5 participants in each group.

Facilitated by Julie Burgess-Manning and Tina McTear who run a family therapy focused private practice in Christchurch. Tina and Julie are both qualified family therapists, and have extensive experience supervising and teaching family therapy in hospital and university settings.  They have both worked in a variety of agencies including CAMHS and NGO’s and have worked with all manner of families and presentations.

Details:

  • 1.5hrs sessions
  • 1-2.30pm Fridays and meeting monthly over six months
  • Includes a set-up session to meet each other and plan our focus according to the needs and wishes of the group members
  • In person groups (in Christchurch only) or online for 3-5 participants in each group

Cost: $100 plus GST per session, (including the set up session)
