Napier Family Centre in partnership with Whakaora and Trauma Aid Aotearoa are hosting a free therapy event August 19-21. We are here to help anyone struggling with their mental health following Cyclone Gabrielle. You do not need to have been directly affected by the storm to benefit from this therapy – anyone can benefit from healing the stress of trauma of everyday life that we all carry with us.

We offer a specific type of therapy known as EMDR – you can learn more about EMDR here.

Our sessions are completely free of charge and are offered in a group setting to allow us to help the most people possible. You can learn more about group therapy here

All sessions are facilitated by registered mental health professionals who are volunteering their time and expertise to help the community.
