Counselling/Therapy Services

If you are struggling with feeling good about yourself or if you are amidst a personal crisis, experiencing anxiety, depression or battling with an addiction or unmanageable feelings, therapy can bring you clarity and relief.

In my private practice I offer therapy to adults of all ages, couples and families and bring sixteen years of clinical experience gained in a range of specialist psychological services, mental health agencies and the corporate sector. This enables me to tailor treatment utilising a range of modalities best suited to your personal needs and to effectively support you to heal presenting issues with tangible results.

I am passionate about working with couples and families, so if you and your partner or family are trying to navigate a difficult time, explore repetitive underlying patterns or improve communication, therapy could be a good option for you. As part of my work with couples, I co-facilitate psychoeducational relationship groups throughout Auckland.

I also offer cognitive mindfulness programmes with a focus on how to let go of unconsciously held relational patterns, enabling more satisfying ways of being and an enhanced capacity for work and love.

 

Counselling/Therapy Approach

I am committed to ongoing training and therefore use a broad range of therapeutic models to tailor treatment according to individual needs including Psychodynamic therapy, Trauma therapy, Cognitive Behavioural and Cognitive Mindfulness therapy, Dialectical Behavioural therapy (DBT), Integrative Gestalt, Jungian and Transpersonal Psychology and Process Oriented Psychology.

 

Background and Experience

I have worked for many years in a range of specialist psychological agencies alongside private practice. I am committed to ongoing training am currently completing a further qualification in advanced psychotherapy practice.
