Learn how to get the difficult conversations around this topic started and address the problematic messages in porn with teens

This 2hr training will unpack the uncomfortable facts about pornography and provide guidance on  how to get the conversation started with teens. It will delve into the range of resources available to those working with, or supporting teens,  so that informed, safe discussions can occur on this topic, that help build critical thinking and form resilience to problematic messages that are in porn.

As stated by David Shanks, Chief Censor, Classification Office, in 2018, “We can’t look away anymore. We know that young people are looking for a better narrative around sex than porn… Pornography is made by adults, for adults … even the most popular or ‘mainstream’ content can be highly problematic from the perspective of young people learning about sex, sexuality and respectful relationships…”
