Jason is a wellbeing counsellor with over 30 years experience in helping individuals heal traumas and create new lives.  Jason combines holistic behavioural counselling approaches with traditional therapeutic techniques to foster a nurturing environment for growth and healing. His empathetic and client-centered approach ensures that each session is tailored to meet the unique needs of every client, empowering them to achieve their personal goals and improve their overall well-being.

Jason treats mind & body as one integrated expression of our conscious selves. He is trained in the Maori healing practise of romiromi and embraces Tihei-wa Mauri Ora as a core practise of understanding and healing.

With a deep understanding of the mind-body connection, Jason integrates mindfulness practices and cognitive behavioral strategies to address a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges. His commitment to ongoing professional development and his passion for helping others make him a trusted partner in your journey towards mental health and wellness.

Jason is a NZAC Registered Counsellor, Certified Trauma-Informed Therapist (somatic), Certified Lifekeepers Suicide Prevention practitioner and Zone Therapist. He practices privately, and also for Age Concern Auckland, National Hauora Coalition (GP referrals) and Aoake te Ra (bereavement by suicide), and as an WINZ registered practitioner and EAP workplace counsellor.
