Hi, I’m Jessica, I am a registered psychotherapist based in Tamaki Makaurau Auckland, Central and West, I support clients ages 18+. My practice is T/LGBTQIA+ friendly and I enjoy working with clients of many cultural and geographical backgrounds.
I support people to navigate:
We can work together to understand and untangle some of the things in your life that feel painful, or that leave you feeling stuck, distressed, or confused. It can be hard carrying so much heaviness, feeling tangled up, angry or hurt. In therapy you have someone to be there with you as you face the tough things. I offer a warm, compassionate, non-judgmental space for exploration and growth. Though therapy can take courage, the process can help with self-acceptance, understanding and connection, self-worth, growth, inner warmth and healing. I center my clients’ experiences and expertise in their own lives, seeing therapy as a collaborative process where we work together to grow a deeper understanding of your self and your lived experiences, relational patterns and inner world.
I practice a type of therapy called integrative relational psychotherapy; I draw from relational, humanistic & psychodynamic psychotherapy, attachment theory, trauma theory, and parts work. Psychotherapy is sometimes referred to as depth psychology; it is usually a medium to long term form of therapy.
If you would like to work with me, get in touch and we can talk about your needs. Our first session would explore what is happening for you, what you might want from therapy, how we might work together and whether I feel like the right therapist for you.
