As a Counselling Psychologist registered with the New Zealand Psychologists Board and a member of the New Zealand Psychological Society, I support adults to navigate life’s challenges and improve their mental health and wellbeing.
I have experience supporting clients with trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, and a range of other mental health concerns. My approach is warm, collaborative, and compassionate. I believe you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to help you better understand your experiences, build on your strengths, and develop practical strategies that support meaningful change.
I understand that reaching out for support can feel daunting. My aim is to provide a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and supported. Together, we will work at a pace that feels right for you, focusing on what matters most and helping you move towards the life you want to live.
I tailor therapy to your individual goals, drawing on evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). I am committed to providing culturally safe and respectful care, recognising and valuing each client’s unique cultural identity, beliefs, values, and lived experiences.
Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply looking to better understand yourself, I will help you build insight, resilience, and practical skills so you can navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and wellbeing.
I currently have availability for in-person appointments in Henderson on Wednesdays during the day, and online appointments on Friday mornings. Please get in touch if you’d like to discuss whether these appointment times are a good fit for you.
