Kristal Rose

Counselling on the Hibiscus Coast

Kristal is a highly qualified mental health professional working in beautiful Whangaparāoa on Auckland’s North Shore. She has an extensive background in mental health settings, and is committed to providing individualised counselling to suit your needs.

Counselling is based upon drawing inner wisdom from within; working with you to make decisions, listen to your story, and walk beside you. The most important part of therapy is feeling like there is a fit between you and the therapist. You should feel that you can open up and talk about anything you need to.

How will I work with you?

I use a broad range of techniques which are carefully selected to fit your specific needs. I work with a solution-focused and strengths-based approach. These may include the integrated use of DBT (Dialectical Behavioural Therapy) and CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) techniques and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), narrative therapy, motivational interviewing and trauma informed approaches. My approach is culturally aware, and I will endeavour to meet your needs in the counselling process.
