Working with individuals, couples and families to bring about lasting change.
I work successfully with clients across a wide range of their presenting issues. These issues include:
Our relationship with Change is regularly part of our lives: sometimes we want it but can’t get it, whilst at other times we don’t want change, yet it is thrust upon us.
I journey with clients to explore their existing strengths – strengths they already have which may be drawn on to support them through their chapter of Change. We can also find ourselves going deeper into the past to examine the elements which have contributed to the present.
I work with clients to support them in the mode that seems a comfortable and easy fit for them. I draw on a range of approaches including person-centred therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). I draw on Art Therapy and Sand tray Therapy.
I have worked in Private Practice, in Christchurch, Melbourne and Auckland, since 2006. I have written and delivered weekend workshops for adults and children.
I have also worked with adolescents within Secondary Schools as a School Counsellor.
