Making change is a difficult process and I offer non-judgemental, safe and supportive practice. I work with clients to identify areas that they wish to work on and we decide together how we will do this.
I work with children and adults that are experiencing grief and loss, family difficulties, relationship difficulties, going through separation or experiencing anxiety and stress.
I am a qualified facilitator of the Parenting Through Separation programme and have a particular interest in supporting families who are going through the separation process.
I provide a safe space for you to talk about whatever is causing difficulties and impacting on your life. We then identify where you would like to be, and work out together how to get you there.
I work from a client centred perspective and we work together to find solutions that work for you.
When working with children I have a variety of games and resources that I use to help them to identify and understand what needs to be worked on and how.
I help clients to be observers in their own life and identify any changes that they feel need to be made, in a safe, non-judgemental environment.
I am a mum with five children and I understand what a challenge family life can sometimes be and I bring what I have learned through my own experiences to my practice.
I have a wealth of experience working with adults, children and families. I have worked with organisations providing on-line counselling and support as well as face-to-face counselling.
