I have worked in the counselling field for over 20 years have a Masters of Counselling Degree and am passionate about supporting people to heal and grow.
I believe counselling provides a space for people to explore new ways of seeing themselves, their experiences and their lives. Learning new skills and growing insight and self-awareness assists you to gain a sense of control and purpose, opens opportunity and provides a platform for positive change and personal fulfilment.

My previous experience includes working as a Mental Health / Dual Diagnosis Support Worker. 10 years experience in the Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD ) field, counselling in both Kaupapa Maori and mainstream services. Previously holding a full membership with the Drug & Alcohol Practitioners Association of NZ (DAPAANZ). I have also worked as a School Guidance Counsellor , Programme Facilitator for the Department of Corrections and in mainstream and iwi based services as a Whanau/ Family Therapist.
