May-Lee Chong

Psychologist

Kia ora,

Whether you have a serious mental health issue, or just finding yourself a bit stuck and needing some support at the moment, I can help untangle some of the issues getting in the way and help you get back on track to the life you would prefer to live.

I have a strength based, validating, and person centered approach to create a safe and comfortable space for you to consider the issues going on for you.

My name is May-Lee and I have worked as a Clinical Psychologist since 2018. I have worked across health, ACC, and correctional settings and have training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR).

I have worked with adults and youth on a range of difficulties such as relationships, burnout, work stress, parenting, emotional difficulties, and grief/loss.

I am able to offer an eclectic and tailored approach to suit the issues you may be facing.

I look forward to hearing from you and seeing how I could be helpful to you.

Nga mihi
