Challenges at work? Looking to make some positive changes in your life and career? Unsure of your next steps?
I am passionate about supporting people to make positive changes in their life. My work to date has bridged wellbeing and career psychology, as well as leadership/career development. I have worked with people from all works of life. from senior leaders in the public sector, to entrepreneurs, school leavers, and those looking to feel more confident in themselves or find new direction. I am especially passionate about working with people in creative fields, high performing professionals, and small business owners.
My approach is very client centred, and tailored to the unique needs of the each individual. I am curious, and seek to really understand you as an individual with a unique story, history and strengths. I typically draw on a solutions-focused coaching psychology, which I integrate with techniques form ACT, positive psychology, strengths and mindfulness-based approaches. I am especially interested in how Mindfulness and Compassion-focused techniques can assist the inevitable ups and downs of succeeding in today’s fast-paced and sometimes ruthless environment.
As part of my coaching work, I offer personality and career assessments that may be used if relevant to your specific situation.
I have have a broad and varied career background. As well as being a Psychologist, I am also a certified yoga instructor, and have worked in New Zealand and abroad. My research has investigated the links between mindfulness, stress, and burnout – and I teach workshops in this area. Alongside my private practice, I also coach leaders across and public sectors, provide supervision to a range of professional services, and design and facilitate workshops that get to the heart of team and workplace challenges.
