I am a dedicated and empathetic counsellor with a highly interpersonal style, focused on creating a safe, nonjudgmental therapeutic environment, with 4+ years of experience.

My core philosophy centres on client empowerment, equipping individuals with practical skills and insight to become their own therapists and achieve lasting well-being.

I work with an unconditional positive regard and belief in the humanistic school of thought, and I take an optimistic view of human nature.

I provide counselling for individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health and well-being concerns, including:

  • Depression and low mood
  • Anxiety and chronic stress
  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
  • Phobia and avoidance-related difficulties
  • Trauma and trauma-related symptoms
  • Substance use, pornography addiction and other addictive behaviours
  • Low self-esteem, shame, difficulties with self-worth
  • Emotional regulation and coping difficulties
  • Grief and loss

My therapeutic work is integrative, drawing on evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s needs and goals. The core approaches include:

- Provisional Member Registered with NZ Association of Counsellors (NZAC)
- Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
- Graduate Diploma in Alcohol Addiction and Substance Abuse
- Master's in Counselling Psychology

Q Appointments

- I accept self-referral and professional referrals
- I am available on Wednesday 8am to 6pm

Q Fees

- $130 per hour
