Bright Minds Counselling

Nau mai, haere mai

Kia ora and welcome…

My name is Nat, and I am an experienced counsellor and wellbeing coach. I work individually with children, adolescents, and adults.

I offer both online and in-person counselling sessions for ages 10+. My in-person sessions take place in a comfortable and quiet space in the heart of Parnell.

Approach

My approach is person-centered and pluralistic – I work collaboratively with each individual I support to develop therapeutic goals that are personally meaningful to them, and I pull from a wide variety of counselling theories and modalities to address their unique needs.

My aim is always to uplift my clients and offer them a welcoming, safe space in which they can learn, explore, and challenge themselves at their own pace. Above all, when working with young people, I strive to make therapy as engaging and fun as possible by including creativity, play, and imaginative activities in my process.

I understand that it can be really daunting to seek mental health and wellbeing services for yourself or your child. Especially as a caregiver, you want to know that your loved-one is being supported in a way that feels safe and empowering for them. You may have questions about process or about counselling in general. I offer a free 15-minute consultation over the phone in which I can answer any questions you might have and determine if my services are right for yourself or your whānau at this time.

Ngā mihi nui.
