Paul Hodnett

Affected Families and Addictions Counsellor

Coming from a back ground of lived experience of addictions, I feel I am in a good place to help others overcome theirs.

With over 24 years of sobriety I draw on my experience and use an eclectic approach to counseling others. I work with individuals, couples and families. I also have extensive experience of working with groups. I use a humanist, empathic approach, enhancing cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and elements of psycho-dynamic theory.

For the last 20 years, I have worked in residential alcohol and drug rehabilitation and as an Alcohol & Other Drug clinician in the public sector. I draw on the latest research methods to inform my practice. I look forward to discussing how I can support you with your goals
