In the context of a safe, supportive and empathic relationship therapy allows space for exploring your thoughts, feelings and behaviours to gain insight, understanding and enhance your connection to yourself. The therapy process assists in raising awareness and insight into unconscious processes which are affecting your present and allows you to be supported in making positive changes to enhance your quality of life.

Couples Therapy:

I provide couples work using the imago therapy approach to assist couples in improving their communication and enhancing connection in relationship. Tools to manage conflict in relationship.

Counselling/Therapy Approach

Counselling and Psychotherapy involves regular sessions. The duration and frequency depends on the nature of the problem and individual needs.

Longer term focusing on deep seated, persisting issues or patterns of behaviour. I am trained in Transactional Analysis (TA) which is based on the theory that decisions made in childhood have a significant influence on how we live our lives in the present. Through therapy insight can be gained about out of awareness patterns which can then be changed and resolved.

Person centered counselling:
Shorter term focusing on current stresses/issues and problem solving.
