Rebekah Gale

Kia ora, my name is Rebekah, I’m 31 and I am a qualified counsellor based in Christchurch. I offer in-person sessions in Christchurch and online counselling throughout New Zealand, working with a vast range of ages and presenting challenges.

I strive to provide an environment that feels safe, welcoming and not too serious where our sessions not only consist of exploring your issue at depth, but also allow for moments of laughter and genuine connection to naturally emerge alongside our work. I aim to provide not only tools, but also a trusting client/counsellor relationship that in itself can also facilitate growth.

Having been to counselling myself, I know how it feels to sit in the client’s chair. This enhances my practice where I can meet my clients with a lived understanding of the vulnerability and emotional honesty required. I also have experience counselling in a highschool, and experience working with whānau and rangatahi within a care and protection setting.

I have a flexible schedule, including some after-hours online availability. A free 15 minute phone or video call is also available if you would like to see whether I am the right fit for you. I look forward to hearing from you!
