I am very passionate about people and I take a people focused approach when working with my clients. I have expertise in a wide range of issues with a particular focus on Sexual abuse, Addictions and Domestic Violence.

I work with people from diverse backgrounds and ethnicities and I am passionate about inspiring others.

I am very passionate about working with people facing Addictions, drug, Alcohol, Substance. I am also interested in and experienced working with stress, anxiety, depression, anger, grief/loss, isolation/loneliness, low self-esteem and confidence, relationship difficulties, communication strategies, and trauma.

I want to work with you and I am here to meet your needs. I am open, patient, and compassionate and I bring that in my approach. My clients find that through counselling they are able to think more positively about themselves and develop a more hopeful outlook towards life. As their self-esteem improves, they find it easier to manage problems that come their way and find solutions which lead to more peace and fulfilment.

Background and Experience

I have worked as a counsellor in a Primary School, and at Care NZ counselling clients with addictions and all general issues. I have also worked for the Drug Treatment Unit at Rimutaka Prison. I am now in private practice and welcome people of all ages and backgrounds who would like to find life easier and more fulfilling.

Monday - Friday 9am -5pm

- One on one - $90/hr
- Group Session 2hr - $45
- Self-Empowerment - $90/hr
- ACC clients are fully funded
- WINZ Disability Allowance for Counselling available for people on benefits and low incomes.
