Q Initial consultation and follow up sessions

Unfortunately I am not accepting new clients at present.

The initial appointment is about getting to know you and your reason for seeking psychology input. During the appointment we will talk about your relevant personal history, your strengths and challenges, and together we will make a plan as to what psychology support will be helpful for you. You are welcome to bring along a support person to your sessions.

The initial appointment is up to 90 minutes long. Follow-up appointments are up to 60 minutes. The frequency (e.g., a one-off, fortnightly, or monthly sessions) will be dependent on your needs and agreed upon with you. The length of therapy depends on the nature of your needs and goals. Many people can benefit from brief therapy (up to 4 sessions), a typical course is 6-12 sessions, however for other people longer- term support may be indicated.

Sarah is based in Remuera but also offers zoom-based sessions nationwide.
