Sarah Hargreaves

Counsellor

I am a Registered Counsellor and have worked for over a decade in education, forensic, drug & alcohol, and private practice settings with adults and adolescents.

I am experienced helping people find better ways to cope, develop new skills, improve their relationships with others, and create a life that they value.

I can help you to:

  • Feel more confident to be able to overcome and handle difficulties.
  • Feel more confident in knowing what you want and how to go about getting it.
  • Feel more at peace within yourself and to feel you have a life worth living.
  • Have more understanding of why you think and feel the way you do and feel empowered to decide your own path.
  • Find different ways to cope with things like ruminating thoughts, distressing emotions, which will leave you with more energy, and room to enjoy life.
  • Find new ways to solve problems you’re facing so that making decisions about important things doesn’t feel so overwhelming.
  • Find ways to cope with worries and anxiety that will leave you feeling calmer, lighter and more self-assured.
  • Find ways to deal with difficult emotions, such as anger and frustration, that will leave you feeling more in control, be connected to people who matter to you, and live according to your values and goals.
  • Find ways through communication and relationship difficulties so that you can maintain dignity and integrity and find renewed strength in identifying what you need, and be able to ask for change/help.
  • Feel more confident in knowing your own values and how to live by them.
