Sharon Blythe Counsellor

Mount Maunganui or online

What can you expect from counselling?

  • To be listened to with warmth and respect.
  • A space of non-judgement where you are free to work through your thoughts and emotions in a supportive environment.
  • A collaborative relationship that will support you to find new ways to approach areas in your life where you may be feeling stuck.

I incorporate different counselling modalities in the way I work, including Person Centred, Narrative, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Strengths Based.  I also have a keen interest in how the body and mind work together to influence our wellbeing and to regulate our stress responses to surroundings, relationships and to life.

I have experience working with issues which include, but are not limited to:

  • Grief & Loss
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Low Self-esteem
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Anger
  • Stress / Burnout

It is very important to find the right “fit” when choosing a counsellor to work with. I offer a free 45-minute initial appointment and I welcome any queries you might have.
