It is my aim that when we work together, you experience feeling seen and heard, and that you feel safe to share your thoughts, feelings and experiences without judgement. We will work collaboratively to gain insight and address the challenges you may be facing. I will support your healing and growth, along with helping you to develop skills and tools to support yourself going forward.
I will adapt how I work to best meets the aims and goals you have for yourself. In addition to working in a person-centred, strengths-based approach, informed by the methods of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Narrative Therapy, I value the insight that Attachment Theory brings (based on the work of Dr Gordon Neufeld).
I currently work with a variety of ages: children from 10 years old upwards, adolescents, young adults and adults. I work with individuals, families, whānau and with couples. I honour each individual’s experiences, regardless of background, gender, sexuality, ethnicity or spiritual identity.
