I am a child and adolescent psychotherapist working with tamariki and rangatahi, supporting emotional regulation, trauma recovery, behavioral concerns, and strengthening attachment within whānau systems. I am dedicated to supporting the emotional and psychological well-being of young people and their families. I work with young people who may be experiencing difficulty with their feelings, behaviors and attachment relationships. I root my practice on respecting and understanding the diverse backgrounds of the families I support, helping them navigate their journeys with empathy and effectiveness.

Approach : My approach includes not only working with the young person but also the system around them to support them. I draw upon psychodynamic psychotherapy, art therapy, DDP, principles of family therapy, polyvagal theory, and trauma-informed CBT, allowing me to tailor sessions to each child’s developmental stage.

I offer:
• Individual therapy for ages 0–21
• Parent–child and whānau sessions to strengthen relationships and shared regulation
• Support for trauma, attachment disruptions, big feelings, and behavioural challenges
• System collaboration with schools, Oranga Tamariki, other specialists, and/or community agencies
• Developmentally informed assessment and intervention planning

Registrations : Registered Psychotherapist (PBANZ)

Qualifications : Master’s in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy (Honours), Graduate Diploma in Psychotherapy, Graduate Diploma in Psychology, DDP Level 2 training, TI-CBT online training, Polyvagal Theory for children and adolescents.
