I recognise that going to counselling can feel rather daunting. As your counsellor I endeavour to create an environment that is safe, comfortable, and offers the appropriate levels of challenge and support. For me, counselling is a collaborative effort.
Have you found yourself asking “What now?” Maybe you’re leaving university, changing careers, or having challenges in your relationships. Perhaps you are going through a breakup, are recently retired, or have just been told you’re facing redundancy at work. Maybe you’re an international student on study abroad and finding yourself feeling a bit out of sync. You’re at a place in life that seems new, maybe a bit scary, and full of possibilities, but you’re unsure of the next steps to take. Perhaps you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or quite sad.
As a clinician, I work alongside you to help you find the way forward on your journey and to reconnect with the strengths and skills you already have. We identify what you dream for yourself and work on whatever is holding you back. I am here to help you identify where you want to go and to figure out the best path forward. I support in a way that empowers and encourages. I use person-centred and integrative approaches that are best suited to you and your goals.
Let's have a conversation about what you're hoping to gain from your counselling experience and if my skills are best suited to your particular situation.
