I work alongside people to explore and heal the root causes of their distress through both the mind (psyche), and by listening and working with the body (soma) in the context of a warm and safe relationship.
I am a degree-qualified Counsellor, and Bioenergetic Psychotherapist in Training (BTT). I have a decade of experience working in the area of sexualised violence.
Bioenergetic Analysis is a form of Psychodynamic Psychotherapy that holds that there is no real separation between the mind and body. It helps us understand ourselves in terms of our body and its patterns of experiencing and managing emotions and energy.
In general, Bioenergetic Psychotherapy helps you become aware of how tensions from stress and old hurts are held in the body. It works to heal these hurts and restore your energy, creativity, and feelings of well-being.
