Reaching out for support isn’t always easy, but you don’t have to face this alone.
Through my counselling practice, I’ve worked with primary school-aged children, teenagers, and adults, helping them navigate things like anxiety, depression, life transitions and relationship challenges, to name but a few. I’ve witnessed clients learn to communicate more honestly with themselves and others, better understand their emotions and where they come from and grow more confident in navigating stressful times. Many clients say they benefit from a private counselling space away from family and friends, where they can explore what’s going on for them and find ways to move forward towards a more curious, compassionate and content life.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, facing loss or grief, wanting to understand yourself more deeply, or simply recognising unhealthy patterns and are ready for a change, I’m here to listen. Together, we can make sense of what you’re experiencing and help you reconnect with your own wisdom and truth.
During our first session, we will explore your concerns and what you hope to gain from counselling. I will work collaboratively with you to build understanding, self-awareness, and practical tools you can use. My approach is warm and compassionate, meeting you where you’re at; everything is welcome.
I know what it’s like to feel stuck or disconnected — my own journey led me to counselling, and I’ve spent years exploring what helps myself and other people find their way back to their truer self – to find more peace, more joy and life contentment. I bring that understanding and experience to my counselling with clients, alongside ten years of self-inquiry and facilitating in The Work of Byron Katie.
I offer person-centred counselling within a trauma-informed framework, drawing on, but not limited to, Mindfulness, Gestalt, Narrative Therapy, The Work of Byron Katie, and Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) to suit your needs. We’ll work with what’s beneath the surface — whether that’s feeling sad, alone, worried, depressed, angry, or just a sense that something’s not quite right.
I am also committed to supervised, culturally responsive, and ethical professional practice.
