I am experienced in working with diverse psychological and emotional issues.
I provide a comprehensive holistically based psychotherapy and counselling service to people from all walks of life, and have been involved in professional people-helping for the past 14 years.
Often the path to the therapy room is long and seldom considered first in terms of the options that one has upon deciding to deal with emotional issues in life. However, the psychotherapeutic approach is valuable in that it seeks to effect changes on the deeper layers of the mind, and has the power to unearth deeply-held beliefs and behavioural/lifestyle patterns that might be causing “surface” clusters of symptoms such as depression or anxiety, to name the most common ones.
Everyone has a different level of engagement and need in the therapeutic work and I strive to work with what’s seems most pressing for my clients in a respectful, safe and confidential manner.
If you’re reading this because you struggle with life, and feel stuck with anxiety, depression, relationship and other issues that won’t go away, I would feel privileged to have the opportunity to help you work through these problems and toward living a more fulfilling life.
I am trained in relational Psychodynamic psychotherapy, although in my work I use other therapeutic paradigms, modalities and techniques when needed, ranging from process and body work, CBT, anger-management toolbox to Buddhist meditation and mindfulness practices.
The axis of my therapeutic work is the ongoing working relationship between my clients and myself, within which therapy approach is applied in respect to each client’s individual needs.
I provide supervision for counsellors, group workers, and psycho-dynamic psychotherapy supervision for beginning psychotherapists and counsellors.
