I have retired from Counselling and no longer offering this service.

As a supervisor I have a passion for working with mental health and other professionals in maintaining their professional practice, navigating the issues which arise at work and sustaining professional wellbeing. Supervision is a reflective process, supporting people to prevent work place burn out, ethical professional practice and functional aspects of the work. I have experience working in NGO’s, supporting student counsellors and supporting provisional NZAC members in to full membership.

My way of working with clients and supervisees has been and is building collaborative relationships. I am also quite a practical person, and this filters through in conversations, exploring how a person can move forward with what ever issues they are facing.

As a counsellor I enjoyed supporting people to find ways forward in navigating life’s difficulties. In counselling I brought Narrative, CBT, Te Whare Tapa Wha and Tei wa Mauri Ora approaches alongside a general eclectic approach.  Finding strategies which worked for people to be able to move forward in their lives.
