Counselling Services

Sometimes life brings us to a turning point, and we know that something in us is asking to be lived differently. We might be in a crisis, or feel stuck or overwhelmed, disconnected from ourselves or our relationships, or caught in patterns we understand intellectually, but still find difficult to change. Or it might simply be time to feel freer, more vital and open to potential.

Counselling/Therapeutic Approach

I work in a spacious, reflective way, inviting you to connect with yourself and discover your own medicine. My approach is integrative with a psychodynamic foundation and a strong focus on:

  • process- and presence-oriented modalities – working right now, with whatever is offering itself for attention
  • somatic psychotherapy – a body-oriented approach to trauma, relationships and illness. The body holds the cues.
  • attachment styles – our earliest relationships shape how we approach and view others, and the world. We can change this in the therapeutic relationship.
  • nature therapy – nature is source and solace, and an integral aspect of who we are. Finding support in nature is our birthright.

Your preferences, needs, and cues guide the process.

Background and experience

I worked for 20 years as a registered clinical psychologist and psychotherapist, alongside people facing a wide range of emotional, psychological, relational and life challenges. Over time, my professional practice and personal explorations have deepened and evolved, and I now bring together my clinical training and many years of therapeutic experience in a more holistic, creative, body-based and nature-connected way of working. I am currently a registered Counsellor.

I believe life is constantly unfolding, we are changing, and so much more is possible than we believe.

I look forward to sharing whatever aspect of your journey you choose to bring, whether it is mental health concerns or challenges, or simply the impulse to deepen your process, or to flourish.
