Originally from Ireland but I have lived in New Zealand for over 10yrs now.
I always aim to provide a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space where we can work through your concerns together. I will help you to build insight into why you may be thinking or feeling a certain way, assist you with coping skills to manage whatever you are facing, and help you to build resilience which will support you on your journey through life.
It is my hope that we can help you learn ways to reduce your symptoms of anxiety, work through any relationships issues you may be facing, support you with any trauma or abuse you may have suffered, deal with stress in a healthier way and work together to improve things so you can live a happier, more meaningful and fulfilled life.
I offer video and phone based counselling for individuals aged 16 and above; sessions are 50 mins in length.

I work in a client-centered way. This means that I believe you are unique and are the expert in your own life. I also work in an eclectic way which means that I use different techniques. I may use Cognitive-Behaviour therapy (CBT), Drawing Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment work, Solution-Focused therapy, or EMDR – depending what you need at the time. We will identify goals for therapy and work to achieve these during our time together.
I have worked with young people, adolescents and adults from varying backgrounds, cultures and ethnicities. Some of my experiences have been at Youthline, HealthWest, Rape prevention education, Family Action (sexual harm and family violence), Massey University, EAP, and ACC therapy.
