I have 20 years experience helping people explore and confront challenging situations, and find solutions to problems (both old and new) that seem overwhelming. I am adept at providing a safe, supportive and creative atmosphere that will enable you to develop a new capacity for coping, understanding, and changing what distresses you.​

During the past 20 years I have worked as a counsellor and psychotherapist in a variety of settings including: private practice, Crisis Counselling in response to the Christchurch Earthquake, a Sexual Health Clinic, Lifeline phone counselling service, facilitated Living Without Violence Support Groups, and as the Group Facilitator with Mothers’ Network in Wellington (providing education and support for new mothers).

Training and Professional Membership

  • Registered Psychotherapist and hold a current Annual Practising Certificate (PBANZ)
  • Member NZ Association of Psychotherapists (MNZAP)
  • Graduate Diploma in Psychotherapy, Auckland University of Technology
  • Bachelor of Arts Degree, Otago University
