I have 20 years experience helping people explore and confront challenging situations, and find solutions to problems (both old and new) that seem overwhelming. I am adept at providing a safe, supportive and creative atmosphere that will enable you to develop a new capacity for coping, understanding, and changing what distresses you.
During the past 20 years I have worked as a counsellor and psychotherapist in a variety of settings including: private practice, Crisis Counselling in response to the Christchurch Earthquake, a Sexual Health Clinic, Lifeline phone counselling service, facilitated Living Without Violence Support Groups, and as the Group Facilitator with Mothers’ Network in Wellington (providing education and support for new mothers).
